 Offener Kanal Trier – OK54 is a television station in the west of Rhineland-Palatinate, based in Trier. According to Rhineland-Palatinate media law, the program is approved as “OK TV”. The non-commercial citizen radio station is broadcast via cable in the regions of Trier, Wittlich, in the Eifel, on the Moselle to the German-Luxembourg border, in the lower regions of the Saar and in the Ruwertal. A 24-hour program with mostly self-produced content is broadcast. The program blocks are temporarily supplemented by the “TRIER INFOTEXT”, a kind of screen newspaper with news, event tips, weather forecast and information about the program. The OK54 television program also includes the local windows of two other citizens’ channels from Bitburg and Wittlich.
